Small Circles, Big ideas.
SO WHAT IS IT?
We help brilliant but “over it” women in marketing ditch the small talk and find their people through curated, bullshit-free gatherings that leave them feeling seen, energised, and genuinely connected.

meet people like kelly
Networking badges. Bottomless Prosecco. The same conversation ten times in a row. This can’t be the best way to meet people, I thought. After 15 years in London, I already had a phone full of names of people I couldn’t remember; the last thing I needed was an even bigger chance of butt-dialling an awkward conversation five years from now. Or worse, someone subscribing me to another newsletter I’m too polite to leave. Surely there's a more rewarding way to find real connection.
As a woman working in the creative sector, the city felt, at best, manufactured and inauthentic, but at worst, like bro central. And the more senior I got, the smaller my circle felt. I didn’t need another beige canapé in the shadowy ballroom of a four-star hotel; I needed genuine conversations with lasting memories. Bring me your busy minds, your midnight multitaskers, your ambitious plate-spinners spouting their sleep-deprived delirium. I wanted to get to know people who run, create, build, or just geek out on the same nerdy brand stuff as me. It’s not about surrounding myself with the biggest hitters; it’s about finding the people willing to take a recklessly big swing in the first place. The kind that help you up from their castle in the sky or that still reach for the stars when they’re face down in the mud. I yearned to meet the kind of people who can own their shit, but still have a way to connect to a childlike curiosity.
It all sounds so feck'in obvious now, but I needed People Like Me. So that’s why I started it.
